Your consultation is the first appointment in the process of receiving Kybella. You are probably curious to know what this treatment for the chin, Kybella is actually like! The great news is – Kybella treatments are simple and fast and you will start seeing results very quickly.
Injectable treatments will take just 10-15 minutes and are done on an outpatient basis. When you arrive at the office, you will be shown into your treatment room where you can immediately get comfortable in the treatment chair. First, Dr. Donath will give you a local anesthetic (either topical or injectable) to ensure you feel virtually no pain during your injections. Then Dr. Donath will deliver a series of injections into the treated areas where the fat deposits are located to let Kybella destroy fat cells in the treatment area.
Once the injection process is complete, you will rest for a few additional minutes before departing. Depending on your treatment goals, your Ohio physician may recommend that you schedule a second treatment (typically you will wait at least three weeks before your second treatment). Even patients with the most accumulated under-chin fat deposits typically have no more than six treatments before completely double chin removal or reaching their treatment goals.
