    Responsibilities included microdissection, preparation of physiological buffers, electrophysiological recordings of nerves of the lobster Pannulirus interruptus, use of confocal microscopy to visualize fluorescence-labeled ligands bound to nerve ganglia, and reviewing relevant literature. Results of this work presented at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience, November 1996.

    Established by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Provides complimentary care to sufferers of facial deformity, whether due to congenital (birth) defect, domestic violence, or war.

    Delivered medical and surgical otolaryngological care to underserved citizens in the region of Juticalpa, Honduras.
