I really don’t want to get a facelift yet. I am only 46 years old. But I do have areas of concern on my face and I would like non-surgical alternatives to repair them. For example, my skin has lost some of its elasticity and there is sagging at my lower cheeks. Are there injectables that can be used as temporary stop-gap measures?
Absolutely- and thank you for asking. This is one of the more common questions I am asked by patients in your age group. Synthetic fillers, such as Restylane or Juvederm, or better yet, your body’s own fat, can be used to revolumize areas of the face that tend to flatten with age. The main areas we treat are the cheeks, the area around the eyes, the folds between the nose and corners of the mouth (Nasiolabial folds), and the lips. This can take as little as 15-30 minutes for a result that can last for one or more years, or you could use your body’s own fat in our exclusive Volume LiftSM, which can give many years of results, and is an overall better value.
